Web Content Management
During recent years the development of solutions based on the content management system Communiqué (CQ) of Day Software (now Adobe) has become our main area of expertise. Today we are the most experienced implementors of this product in Spain.
We also count with more than half a decade of experience in the development of solutions based on CoreMedia CMS. Both systems are designed for most demanding requirements, however they are built upon different technology stacks.
CoreMedia is based on the very stable and proven plattform and offers throught the utlization of Spring an excellent way to integrate even the most complex business processes.
Communiqué on the other hand offers a RESTful Web API and with CRX a JSR-283 (JCR 2.0) conform content repository. CQ and CRX are based on the open-source projects Apache Sling and Apache JackRabbit. The embedded Apache Felix OSGi framework offers a dynamic runtime environment, that allows to add and remove content packages or application components at runtime without the need to restart the server.
Web Application Frameworks
10 years ago we used the very first production release of the now legendary Web framework Apache Struts for the implementation of online banking application of a German investment bank. Since then the world of web frameworks has changed a lot. Nowadays you find a suitable framework for any specific need. At Webtimize we use Spring as well as Java Server Faces (JSF) most of the time.
Backend-Technologies
In the mayority of our projects we implement complex business processes in web applicationen and 2- or 3-layer architectures. Over the years we have continiously adopted the best products and standards of the time. Today we therefore offer the full spectrum of J EE in our solutions. With a special emphasis on EJB, JPA, Java Message Service (JMS) and Java Web Services.
